POP-UP CAFÈ Williamsburg
Commissioned by: Williamsburg Cafè
Project Type: Pop-up Hospitality

Location: Brooklyn, NY

This pop-up cafè is located in a historic factory in Williamsburg that has been abandoned for the past 25 years. The concept behind this three-week restaurant is to preserve the authenticity of the building while adding contrasting modern elements.

The current condition undoubtedly possesses a certain aesthetic quality. As a result, the atmosphere, reminiscent of ancient ruins, has become one of the main attractions of the courtyard. Oysters were the main focus of the pop-up project launch. Therefore, we came up with an idea to combine the aesthetic of the mansion's abandoned courtyard with an allusion to a rugged northern beach, which is the home of oysters.
