"A Sweet Pomegranate" is a call for a collective action of remembrance. Specific objects which were requested by refugees as documented by
@conversationsfromcalais were sent to the governmental entities which are closest to where migrants’ bodies have been found, the message being that the object has arrived too late and thus prompting those authorities to take action. Red roses carrying the coordinates of the deceased accompanied by a QR code were scattered around public spaces in Barcelona as a symbol of remembrance and a way to invite passersby to join the initiative. "A Sweet Pomegranate" was designed and built as part of the MEATS-Elisava program | 2021-2022.
